The CASTOR 2 Meter VHF Whip is a full-length, flexible antenna designed for amateur VHF handheld communications. Its superelastic nitinol element bends during movement and handling and returns to its original shape, making it a practical option for outdoor and portable radio use.

Compatibility and performance

Connects directly to handheld radios with a compatible BNC antenna connection. SMA-equipped radios require the correct BNC adapter, sold separately unless included in your selected package.

The SWR specification applies at the center frequency. Actual SWR varies across the operating band and with the radio, adapter, and surrounding conditions. For VHF business frequencies outside the amateur 2-meter band, request custom tuning.
