Jungle Antenna Kit

The Pollux Field Systems Jungle Antenna Kit is a lightweight, packable field antenna designed for situations where you need more performance than a standard handheld whip can provide.

Built around a simple, proven field-expedient antenna design, the kit packs down extremely small and weighs almost nothing—making it easy to keep in a radio bag, chest rig, vehicle kit, or contingency communications package. It works equally well as a primary field antenna or as a backup option when terrain, distance, or operating conditions demand a better antenna setup.

Each kit includes four 24-inch lengths of flexible 20 AWG silicone wire, pre-looped and heat-shrunk for easy deployment, a BNC cobra-head splitter, and three zip ties for securing the radial elements to locally sourced sticks or other supports.

To eliminate the guesswork, every kit also includes written assembly instructions and a quick-reference guide with predetermined cut lengths for common frequencies and radio services. Simply choose the frequency range you want to use, cut all four elements to the listed length, assemble, and deploy.

The included 24-inch elements provide enough material to configure the antenna for a variety of common VHF and UHF applications.

Sticks/supports are not included. The antenna is designed to use readily available sticks, cordage, vegetation, or other field-expedient supports.
